ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER
Character Age: Sixteen years young.
Grade (If any): Highschool Sophomore
Personality: Emily is probably the "good girl" out of her friends—her parents were very strict about her upbringing, resulting in not-the-normal-sophomore-girl. Emily loves swimming with a passion and often keeps herself busy doing just that. She is very mild-mannered and knows the right thing to do, and often does it. However, she does have a tendency to squeal on people over minor things, which can result in fights. Normally, though, she's polite and nice and fairly normal. She is very sensitive and can't easily let things go—example: Alison Lauren DiLaurentis.
She has a secret, though. She's gay. She doesn't really know it herself, but she will in time...She gets nervous around girls, she knows that. What she doesn't know is, well, she's gay.
She's a semi-popular girl with a popular, erm, boyfriend, but she still feels like an outsider. Who knows why?
Sample RP:
Alice blinked the sleepiness out of her eyes, twirled a stray corn-silk-like strand of blond hair around her finger, and sat down at the Ravenclaw table, glad that the food was out. She was naturally an early riser, and sometimes so early that once she got caught by the caretaker for being out of bed and wandering the corridors at night. If there was a light-sleeper award for all of the world, it would probably go to her. And worse, once she did wake, she could never go back to sleep. But, like all teenage girls, she needed her sleep. Badly. Especially in this girl's case.
Yawning and placing some still-warm scrambled eggs on to her plate, Alice turned her head from side to side, looking for some fellow early risers. There were several people up, most of them finishing homework while simultaneously eating their breakfast, one person spilling pumpkin juice on their essay while Alice watched intently. She loved watching other people screw up. It was just kind of her nature. Strange nature, yes, but her. Not that she was outright mean or anything, just...different? No, that wasn't the right word.
Whatever. She was too hungry to think properly. After skipping dinner the previous night and having eaten only a few rushed forkfuls of food at the same day's lunch, she was famished. Shoving her fork rather unglamorously into her mouth until her scrambled eggs were naught but a memory, she grabbed a piece of toast and began buttering it while reading her schedule. Potions...Defense...ugh, the norm. She wanted to be a sixth year already! At least then you got some free periods. Even if you used that time for homework...Well, it was a free period. While Alice did well in school, it wasn't like she was a star student. She was more like the average student. And it wasn't like she adored school, like most of her fellow Ravenclaws. Why she had even been put in Ravenclaw, she had no idea.
Shrugging, Alice took out her book she was using to study for her upcoming Potions practical, and began skimming through the introduction to the remedial potions, seeing if there was anything that would possibly help her through the hellish class. Watching a couple more people take seats at their tables, Alice allowed herself one lone strawberry as she flipped the pages of the book. Come on, there had to be something she could use.
