Rules of the site.
1. Do not post one liners. Our word count minimum is 150.
2. Do not God-Mod. This means you are not allowed to play other characters to inflict what happens next. This also means that if you play multiple characters [multi-chars] you MUST be signed in as THAT CHARACTER to POST AS THAT CHARACTER.
3. Until your character is approved, do not post in the role-play area. You are more than welcome to post in the OOC area and IC games.
4. IC games are not counted as part of the RP, it is purely improvisation. If you want to plot the events of what happened while in a game, you may thread it.
5. Using other shows/movies/literary character names or celeb names is not permitted for your character. So characters like 'Monica Gellar' or Adam Sandler' will be declined.
6. Drug or Alcohol abuse, rape, extreme violence, child abuse, teen pregnancy, and pornography are not permitted on the site. Characters under the age of 18 are also not permitted to post any sexual content- We also advise those who do want to post any graphic content use the password protected board.
7. We all swear sometimes, but please keep it in moderation.
8. Polite disagreements are fine, but we do not condone any fights between members OOC. Cyber-bullies will be punished with an instant ban on ALL characters.
9. One or two canon characters are fine, but please do not apply for all main characters. E.g: user1 applies for Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, Spencer Hastings, Tobey Cavanaugh, Caleb Rivers and Ezra Fitz. Only one will be accepted.
A good example: User1 applies for Aria Montgomery and Anne Sullivan.
10. All Role-Play posts should be in third-person, not first.
11. In the event that there are multiple people per thread (e.g Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily), there should be an agreed upon post order (1st post; Aria, 2nd; Spencer, etc.). If a member hasn't responded to the group thread within one week, assume they have left the scene and continue with the thread.
12. Avatars should not exceed 100 x 100.
13. Signatures should be no bigger than 500x500. They stretch the page and make the site look messy.
14. You may only use 1 or 2 images in your signature. This is to avoid excessive scrolling and longer load times.
15. Do not claim anybody else's work as your own. If another member makes a sig or av for you, please credit them.
16. Breaking these rules are met with a warning, three warnings are met with a Ban. Extreme rule breaking will be met with an instant ban- with or without warnings.
